day 363/364

Last night we went to dinner at the absolute best bar-b-que restaurant EVER! It's called Peggy Sue's and it is delish!

Today was an exciting day. I had been growing out my hair to donate it to the Pantene project that makes wigs for Cancer patients. I finally did it today...I chopped off 10 inches! My hair is super short now but I LOVE it!!

day 361/362

Yesterday I was invited to go to Six Flags with my friend Tiffany. It was a lot of fun. They had everything decorated for Christmas and had holiday programs and lights everywhere! Of course I loved it!

Today I went to lunch with Mom, Mrs Tammie, Jenn, Nick, Heather, Johnny, and Jaxon. It was so good to all get together! It was also kinda sad because we realized it might be the last time for a while. Jenn and Nick will be moving in April to wherever the Army sends them, so it could be all the way across the country. It was so much fun to get together and reminisce!

day 355/356/357/358/359/360

Get ready...this is going to be a long one!

So Wednesday after I got off work I spent the entire afternoon watching movies at my apartment, in my bed. It was one of those days where you don't realize you have been in bed all day until you look at the clock and it is 9 o'clock. Oh well...I guess that is what break is for.

Thursday morning I woke up early to finish wrapping presents and getting ready to go to Plano for Christmas. So I turned on TV to just have some background noise and BOY MEETS WORLD was on!! I loved that show when I was growing up. So of course I didn't get anything done, because I had to watch it.

Friday afternoon Rob and I went shopping to get some of his last minute (all) of his presents. We saw the funniest motorcycle that had the rudolph car decorations on it. Then that night Mom, Nana, Rob, John, and I went and looked at Christmas lights. I have this weird obsession with all things Hannukah related so I was super excited when I saw this huge Menorah.

Saturday was Christmas Eve, and a crazy day. I did some last minute shopping. Then I got ready and went to the Christmas Eve service at church. Then we came back to mom' ate our Popeye's chicken and opened presents. It was a great Christmas Eve!

Sunday morning we woke up and ate a yummy lunch. Then Rob and I headed over to Dad and Suzanne's for Christmas. We went to dinner at this yummy restaurant in Dallas called Avanti. It is a super swank restaurant in Uptown and it was really fun to go out on Christmas for a change. Overall it was a great Christmas, and I am super blessed to have been able to spend it with my wonderful family!

Today was super relaxing. Definitely much needed after a busy Holiday weekend. For dinner we went to La Hacienda Ranch which was still decorated for Christmas. I thought this moose was decorated to cute to not take a picture.

day 351/352/353/354

Saturday I woke up super early in order to fly to California. It was a LONG day, but after 12 hours and 4 airports I finally made it to L.A. I was flying standby the whole way, and it was way hectic. I got pulled off of my first flight at a stop because it was full, then had to wait a really long time for another one. I eventually got there, and as soon as I did Kelsey and I drove around and saw a lot of L.A. hotspots. We drove past Warner Brothers, down Hollywood Blvd., and saw the Chinese Theatre. It was so cool to actually see everything that you always hear about.

Sunday was a super long day also. We spent the whole day at Disneyland!!! It was so much fun! Everything was Christmas themed which of course made it even better! There were a ton of people there, but we really didn't have to wait in line that long for rides. They have it down to a total science at that place. That night they had a really cool parade and fireworks show too!

This one's for you Merelee :)

Monday we left early to catch a flight back to Dallas. I had to work that night which stunk. We had a stop in Albuquerque and when we landed it was snowing!! I am super glad we didn't get stuck there, because how much would that have sucked?

And today after I woke up I went to Plano to get the rest of my stuff for snow skiing. Then I came back to Arlington to work. Definitely needed a low key day after the past weekend! And to make the day even better they posted grades and I got a 4.0!! YAY!!!!!

day 348/349/350

Wednesday I didn't really do much. I had to run to Plano for a bit, and decided I would share with you my all time favorite Christmas ornament EVER! Rob will probably kill me but it is just too funny!! Love you brother ;)

Thursday I took my Injuries and Prevention final. I did a really good job at procrastinating to study for it, so I got to school super early (like still pitch black outside, early) that morning  to study. Thankfully it was not hard...at all. And I got a perfect 100 in that class! How awesome huh?

And today I took my last final of my last Fall semester!!! I am so glad to be done with this semester and to only have one more left!!!! I saw this quote earlier today and thought I would share it.

day 346/347

Yesterday after my exam I went back to my apartment and enjoyed an afternoon of doing absolutely nothing. I started messing around with my Apple TV and figured out how to use my pictures as the screen saver. How cool is that?

Today Krystel and I set up some of our Christmas stuff. We put everything up but the tree because we were to lazy to clean up after we had to take it down.

day 341/342/343/344/345

Wednesday I finally got my Beauty Book. I have been really excited about this since I pre-ordered it about 2 months ago. The creator is a well known photographer in L.A. who has a passion for raising money for brain cancer research and awareness. So he get as many celebrities as he could and took really cool pictures of all of them and put them in this huge coffee table book. I LOVE it! Not only is it awesome photography to look at, but all the proceeds helped a great cause too!

Thursday I had a final in my fitness management class. I also got back my project and got a perfect score on it!!! I was so excited, especially since the whole "it getting deleted at the last minute" fiasco.

Friday I went over to Plano and went to lunch with Dad, Suzanne, Rob, and Hudson. Then I FINISHED my Christmas shopping (YAY!). Mom had asked me to help her make a decoration for their school Christmas party. So of course I used one of my pinterest ideas. I think it turned out really cute!

Saturday was a really busy day. I had to run some errands early, then I went and babysat Abby for a while. We had a lot of fun making a gingerbread house, and making some crafts for Christmas. And of course I always love playing with her, but holy moly was I exhausted after the 5 hours. Keeping up with a 3 year old is hard work! Then I went to Prestonwood's Christmas play. It was really good!

And today on my way to work I checked my mail, and my Disneyland tickets came in! I'm going next weekend and I am SO excited!

day 338/339/340

Sunday I met Anna Lee for dinner despite the weather being disgusting. We ate at this really cool hole in wall Italian restaurant...and it was DELICIOUS! It was also fun to catch up. She just accepted a job offer to be an assistant band director at a really good middle school so I got the whole scoop.

Yesterday was just a gross day. It was WAYYY to cold for my liking, and all day there was this weird mix of not really rain-not really snow-not really sleet stuff falling from the sky. Basically I wanted to just stay in bed all day, but of course I didn't because it is dead week.

I have this app on my phone called PostSecret. It is based off of this website I read every Sunday (which i posted a picture of a while ago). Basically people upload their secrets anonymously on this app and everyone who has the app can read them and reply if they feel like it. People post really deep secrets, and often find a lot of support from complete strangers who may be half way around the world. Well today someone posted how they have a terminal cancer and one of the items on their bucket list was to travel. So because this person could not travel all across the world, they asked people to post pictures of where they were right at that moment. It was really cool to see pictures from all over like England, New York, Canada, etc. So I took some pictures walking across campus, which is actually really pretty at this time of year. I ended up having a really deep moment as I was walking that I won't bore you with.

day 334/335/336/337

I'm getting so close to the end! How crazy!!!

Wednesday, I was able to get a new phone! It really is crazy how so much of what I do depends on that thing, but I felt so lost without it. So as a part of my horrible Tuesday, a project that I had been working on all semester got deleted off the computer I was working on when it crashed. I had saved everything, but the school's computers clear all the memory after someone logs off. So all day Wednesday I had to restart the whole project because it was due Thursday. I was able to finish without getting stressed out, and I feel really good about how it turned out!

Thursday after I turned in my project Krystel called and asked me to meet her at the mall. Of course I never refuse a shopping trip. I ended up getting some things and I found some AMAZING deals. Like a pair of jeans regular $90 for $30 and two shirts for $2. Needless to say it was a pretty successful trip.

On Friday, I started studying for finals because all of my classes were pretty much done with work. And of course, I spent most of my"study time" on pinterest, facebook, twitter, and pretty much any other website that had absolutely nothing to do with my final. I saw this cartoon and thought it was totally fitting...

Saturday morning I woke up and drove to Texarkana  to meet Nana, Aunt Betty, Donna, and Cali so I could bring Nana home. I hadn't seen her in 5 weeks so it was really good to catch up on the way home. Welcome home NANA!!!

day 331/332

Early yesterday morning I dropped Rob off at the airport for him to fly back to Baton Rouge.

When I got home from school today, my phone slipped out of my hand and the screen shattered. Now I can't use it at all. I'm hoping I can get an early upgrade tonight, so that I have some form of communication. You don't realize how much you rely on your phone until you don't have it. Then I came to work and was working on my project that is due Thursday. I saved it all, but then my computer crashed. At school, when the computer logs off it erases everything. So basically my whole project is gone. I am so frustrated, so I decided to just chill for the rest of the night, then work on it all tomorrow.

**So my picture won't load, so I will try again later.**

day 326/327/328/329/330

Wednesday after class I picked Rob up from the airport and then headed to Mom's house. After lunch, we went to Target and found these awesome hats to get us in the holiday spirit. What do you think??

Thursday was Thanksgiving Day, and Dad, Suzanne, Rob, and I started the morning off with 38,000 people at the Turkey Trot in downtown. They broke the Guinness record for most people dressed as a turkey at an organized foot race. After the race, we went home, took a nap and ATE!

Friday was my favorite day of the year! BLACK FRIDAY!!! Mom and I started out at Target. We got in line around 10:45. After Target we went to Kohl's where the line was RIDICULOUS! It was wrapped around the entire store just to check out! It was a little crazy then we went to IHOP. After that we went home and slept for a bit, then went back out. Of course it was a ton of fun! Later on in the day we put up the our Christmas tree at mom's too.

Saturday night we went to the Dickens of a Christmas celebration in McKinney. We were a little disappointed though because there wasn't really much going on. So then we went to Frisco and saw all the lights on Main Street that they have coordinated to music. It was really, really cool.

Now I am sitting at work where there is not ONE person on campus. I am pretty sure I am going to be here by myself all day. At least I will have time to finish my homework, even though I would rather be in my warm bed right now. Oh well...
