day 331/332

Early yesterday morning I dropped Rob off at the airport for him to fly back to Baton Rouge.

When I got home from school today, my phone slipped out of my hand and the screen shattered. Now I can't use it at all. I'm hoping I can get an early upgrade tonight, so that I have some form of communication. You don't realize how much you rely on your phone until you don't have it. Then I came to work and was working on my project that is due Thursday. I saved it all, but then my computer crashed. At school, when the computer logs off it erases everything. So basically my whole project is gone. I am so frustrated, so I decided to just chill for the rest of the night, then work on it all tomorrow.

Wednesday after class I picked Rob up from the airport and then headed to Mom's house. After lunch, we went to Target and found these awesome hats to get us in the holiday spirit. What do you think??

Thursday was Thanksgiving Day, and Dad, Suzanne, Rob, and I started the morning off with 38,000 people at the Turkey Trot in downtown. They broke the Guinness record for most people dressed as a turkey at an organized foot race. After the race, we went home, took a nap and ATE!

Friday was my favorite day of the year! BLACK FRIDAY!!! Mom and I started out at Target. We got in line around 10:45. After Target we went to Kohl's where the line was RIDICULOUS! It was wrapped around the entire store just to check out! It was a little crazy then we went to IHOP. After that we went home and slept for a bit, then went back out. Of course it was a ton of fun! Later on in the day we put up the our Christmas tree at mom's too.

Saturday night we went to the Dickens of a Christmas celebration in McKinney. We were a little disappointed though because there wasn't really much going on. So then we went to Frisco and saw all the lights on Main Street that they have coordinated to music. It was really, really cool.

Now I am sitting at work where there is not ONE person on campus. I am pretty sure I am going to be here by myself all day. At least I will have time to finish my homework, even though I would rather be in my warm bed right now. Oh well...

Yesterday after class I started frantically working on a project that is due next week. I may or may not have had all semester to do it (whoopsie)...but I am not worried, I'll get it done. Then I made a yummy dinner for myself, I got the recipe off PINTEREST and it was delish!!

Now I am sitting at work, again working on my project.  The sunset tonight was too cool looking to not take a picture, so I thought I would share it!

Wednesday night I went and picked Robert up from the airport. Then we went over to Dad's for dinner and just hung out. We kinda had a break before the break which is always nice.

Thursday night Katie and I went to a Twilight marathon at the movie theater. It was so much fun! We watched the first three twilights then at midnight saw the premiere of the newest one. The craziest thing was that we were a few of the youngest ones in the theater. When you think Twilight you think crazy teenage girls, but in our showing it was almost all older women.

And since it was technically Friday morning when we saw Breaking Dawn...

Saturday was Mom's birthday, so Rob and I went and walked around Watter's Crossing with her, then we went to dinner at BJ's. After dinner we walked around the Village at Fairview who was having their lighting ceremony. It was a lot of fun!

And yesterday, after work I met Dad, Suzanne, Hudson, and Rob at the Science Place in Fair Park and we went to the planetarium. The planetarium was one of my favorite memories in elementary school, and this one didn't disappoint. Then we went to an IMAX show about the sea dinosaurs. Let's just say this one wasn't as interesting. haha It was still a really fun day though!

Monday I went to my last ever ACSM lecture. Praise the LORD!!! These things are so boring and the lecturers go on and on and on. They know that no one will go if they don't give us extra credit for it, so of course everyone goes and plays on their phone the whole time.

And this morning I saw my first Christmas lights of the Holiday season!! Granted it was at 9 o'clock in the morning, but HEY! They were on!

Saturday was a fun day. Katie and I went to the Zac Brown Band concert and had a blast! I have said this before on here, it is always fun to hangout with just her like the old times.

Today has been pretty boring. Work, catch up on sleep, watch some T.V. I also worked on some of my christmas presents!! I am so excited for Christmas!

Wednesday we had a really interesting discussion in one of my classes. As I'm sure you know obesity is becoming an epidemic in this country. And we (the people in my class) as (soon to be) fitness professionals are going to have to take on this problem. So my teacher started a discussion about how we can get people to start living a healthy lifestyle in this politically correct world. She then told us about this university in Pennsylvania that required their students to have a BMI under 30 to graduate. I thought it was an interesting concept so I did some more research on it, and I honestly don't know how I feel about it. You should google it and read about it, it's pretty intriguing.

And yesterday was a GREAT day. Both of my classes were cancelled and I didn't have to work, so I totally vegged out all day. I went shopping during the afternoon and got so excited to see all the Christmas stuff. I usually am the one that hates how we start celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving, but  I guess I had a change of heart this year.

And now I am sitting at work after sitting in class all day. Not gonna lie, I didn't know what to take a picture of, so I took one in class of my professor lecturing. Welcome to my world! haha

Saturday Krystel and I woke up early to go look at bridesmaids dresses for her wedding. We tried on a TON, but I don't think we found the one yet. The one in this picture we LOVED, but they didn't have it in her color which is a huge bummer!

Sunday I had to be at work bright and early and it was super boring. Then I went home and SLEPT! It sounds super boring, but on the weekends that is all I do!

Monday, I had a test in one of my classes, so after that was done I felt a huge relief. I had a lot to do after class, but I really wanted to get in a work out. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone by catching up on my TV shows while running.

And now I am sitting at work about to get off. When I got here I was told I had to go restock the lab with paper and ink cartridges...which is the WORST job ever! I was so mad because it is hauling all of this crap all across campus. At least I was getting paid??

First of all, I can't believe it is already November!! Where has the year gone??

So what is the best part of November 1st?? Of course all the Halloween candy being on sale!! I was totally craving Candy Corn, so on my way to work I stopped and bought a bag. We didn't have trick-or-treaters because we live in apartments, so this was my on Halloween treat. So yummy!!

Then Wednesday, I went to Plano for the evening and took Katie to dinner for her birthday. We went to Blue Fish (yummy!) and totally pigged out on sushi. (I had this great plan to get a cute picture of us at dinner, and totally forgot!) Then we walked across Watter's Creek to The Tollhouse store and got a cookie for dessert! It was a lot of fun, and always good to catch up with no kids around.

Thursday I didn't feel to hot, so after class I came back to my apartment and totally chilled for the rest of the night. At some point I realized that since this is November, it means that it is almost Black Friday! Black Friday is my absolute favorite day of the year! This is when I allow myself to get into the holiday spirit and of course be one of those crazy people that wait in line at ridiculous hours of the night/morning just to say I did. And there was big news announced. Target is opening at MIDNIGHT that Friday. This is HUGE!! I can't wait!

And today I woke up and turned on the radio right as they were doing the weather. They were saying it would be warm. Well dumb me didn't listen to the part where they said it would start cold then warm up. So I leave my apartment in a thin sweater and jeans. I almost froze my tooshie off!! It was 37 degrees when I got in my car! How dumb am I/
