300/301/302/303

How crazy is it that I only have 65 days left of this!

Friday was heartbreaking! The Rangers lost the World Series after being so close not once but TWICE!! I can't even talk about it I am so upset!

Saturday I went shopping and bought myself a new ring from James Avery, then that night I went to dinner with Rob, Dad, and Suzanne.

Sunday I went to lunch with Katie and got to see my girl Abby! I asked her what I should be for Halloween, and she said a big elephant because I had ears like Dumbo. Haha you have to love little kids.

Today started off great! I have been super burned out on school lately and all I really want is just one day to sleep in. Well...I woke up to an email from my professor of my 8 am class saying it was cancelled and I could go back to sleep! I was so so happy!!

day 297/298/299

Tuesday was a hard day. I went to the funeral of a close family friend, then drove back to Arlington for work. I saw this verse on twitter that day and thought it was really good.

The Lord is my strength and song; He has become my salvation. He is my God and I will praise him. Exodus 15:2

Wednesday I was all excited all day because I thought I was going to get to see the Rangers play. But unfortunately they postponed the game. So while I was wasting time I was reading the news online and saw an article about a study that one of my professors is doing, and that I was a subject in. It is so cool to see something like that apply to the community.

Last night was so heartbreaking! I met Dad and Suzanne at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Rangers game. I can't even explain to you how stressed I was watching that game, and I still can't believe we came so close and LOST!

day 296

This morning my drive to school was pretty interesting. We had the worst fog I think I have ever seen. This picture I took about 200 feet from Rangers Ballpark, and you can't even see it!!

GO RANGERS!!!

day 294/295

Yesterday Anna Lee invited me to go to the TCU game with her. It was a lot of fun to catch up and the frogs KILLED New Mexico State.

Now I am sitting at work watching the Rangers game and hoping they play WAY better than they did last night (which was horrible!). I thought this was a pretty cool picture I took at the ballpark a few days ago.

day 291/292/293

WARNING: Get ready for a lot of world series pictures/ talk

Wednesday was the first game of the World Series! So, Dad Suzanne, and Hudson came over to my apartment to watch the game. They even brought me a new TV (YAY!! THANKS DAD!) Unfortunately the Rangers lost, but thats okay.

Last night I met Nana and Mom at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. This game almost game me a heart attack. The Rangers decided it would be okay to wait until the ninth inning to start scoring. BUT, we won and now we are coming home to win it!

Today was an exciting day because I was approved for my internship. I am really excited about. I am going to be interning at Cancer FitSteps for Life which is a non-profit organization which provides a free gym and training to cancer patients and their families. I really think that I am going to enjoy it, and they are trusting me with a lot of big projects for the semester like over-seeing a whole new division of the program! I am really excited to just interact with everyone and hope that I can help them turn a negative time in their life to a positive.

day 289/290

Yesterday I was able to skype with Robert! We didn't talk for very long, but it was good to chat. Go ahead and ignore how gross of a picture this is. I didn't think to maybe smile while I was taking it (duh!)

Last night we had a storm, and apparently it brought cooler weather. I walked out of my apartment this morning and it was WAYY cooler. Like high of 65 cooler. It was a total shock.

day 284/285/286/287

Thursday was the Ranger's last game in Detroit. I was really hoping that they would win and clinch. But unfortunately they didn't and had to come home to play in Arlington.

Friday night I went to dinner with Nana, Mrs. Peggy, and Katie. After dinner, we ran by to see Abby and Connor. It is so cute because Abby is such a miniature version of Katie that it is hilarious. She performed for us all of the songs from The Lion King. It was so cute!

Saturday Katie and I went to McKinney Trade Days to see what they had. It was way bigger than I ever expected it to be. They had a whole section of dog breeders with all these super cute puppies that we spent most of our time playing with them. Then that night I watched the Rangers clinch and advance to the World Series with Nana!!!!! It was so exciting!!

The Rangers had a nine run inning and we were really excited!

Today I had to work early this morning, than I came home and watched one of my favorite shows, The Amazing Race. I absolutely love this show and really want to apply to be on it one day.

day 280/281/282/283

Sunday was supposed to be a busy day. I woke up early because my new mattress was being delivered. My old mattress was litterally just a bunch of springs and SO uncomfortable, so I splurged and bought a new one. And no lie, it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my life. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud. Then I went grocery shopping and got the stuff to make dad a birthday cake because he was coming over to go to the Ranger's game. Welll... the game ended up being postponed to the next day, and the cake took way longer than I thought it would. So I finished that then layed on my new bed.

Monday after class I rushed to Richardson for a meeting with my internship site for next semester. I am really excited about it, but that is for another post. Then I rushed back to Arlington and Dad and Suzanne were here and we left for the game. OH MY GOODNESS...this was by far the best game I have ever been too. We had awesome seats and the game was amazing. We won in the bottom of the eleventh on a walk off grand slam. The energy in  the park was of the charts, and so cool to be a part of.

Yesterday was back to  my regular schedule. Most of you know that I pretty much only watch the trashy reality shows like Jersey Shore and Real Housewives. Well this season I have started to watch the new show Pan Am and it is really good! So I caught up on the new episode at work.

And today was a big day. I had my graduation check with my advisor. She let me know I am either in or registered in every class I need to graduate and that I can apply to graduation. I am so ECXITED!!!

day 278/279

I have been sick these past few days from allergies and such, and yesterday was by far the worst. I felt like I had been slammed into a brick wall. I was desperate to feel better, so I went and bought a Neti Pot, which I had heard works wonders. Oh My Goodness!! This might be the greatest thing since sliced bread. It completely cleared out my sinuses and made me feel so much better!

And today was the Texas/OU game. Of course, OU KILLED Texas like they should and I have never been more proud. Here is a joke in honor of how much I hat Texas!

A new teacher in College Station trying to make a good impression on her first day
explains to her class that she’s a Aggie’s fan. She asks the class to
raise their hands if they too are Aggie fans. Everyone in the class
raises their hand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the
girl with surprise and says: ‘Mary, why didn’t you raise your hand?’
... ‘Because I’m not a Aggie fan,’ she replied.

The teacher, still shocked, asks: ‘Well, if you’re not a Aggie fan,
then whom do you support?’
’I’m a Sooner fan, and proud of it,’ Mary replied.

The teacher could not believe her ears. ‘Well Mary, might you explain
why are you a Sooner fan?’

‘Because my mom and dad are from Oklahoma and my mom is a Sooner
fan and my dad is a Sooner fan, so I’m a Sooner fan too!’

‘Well,’ said the teacher, in an obviously annoyed tone, ’that’s no
reason for you to be a Sooner fan. You don’t have to be just like
your parents all of the time. What if your mom was a prostitute and
your dad was a drug addict and a car thief, what would you be then?’

Mary said, ’I’d be a Longhorn fan.’

BOOMER!!!

day 276/277

Yesterday I somehow left class without my phone and didn't realize it was missing until about 20 minutes after. I started freaking out because my phone is my lifeline (and it's not password protected... I don't have anything to hide, but you never know). Fortunately, A guy that sits in front of me and drives me crazy because he is so annoying found it. After the 5th time of Krystel calling it he finally picked up and told us where to meet him to get it. Now he is my new best friend!

Now I am sitting at work wishing I was at Bed Races (one of the biggest and best UTA traditions where organizations literally race beds, and it is the one event that practically the whole school goes too!) But it is a little better because I am watching EAST beat ALLEN on ESPN!!!

My friend sent me this picture of Bed Races

day 273/274/275

This week is and has been crammed full of tests, presentations and projects, so Sunday I spent all day at the gym studying.

Monday was test 1 of the week and thankfully I felt pretty prepared for it, and I think it went well! That night I worked and followed the Ranger's game on my phone...and THEY WON!!!

And tonight was even better....The Ranger's advanced to the ALCS!!!!! I am so excited!!!!
