day 165-169

So my life has been so crazy recently, so I haven;t really had time to update. But now it is starting to slow down, so I can update more. (Get excited!)

Wednesday through Friday I went to Baton Rouge with Rob, Dad, and Suzanne for Rob's orientation at LSU. It is so crazy to think that he is about to be a college freshman... where has the time gone??

Wednesday after we landed, we walked around the French Quarter, got dinner, and of course made a pit stop at Cafe Du Monde.

Thursday was a busy day full of orientation stuff... but we stopped to see Mike the Tiger

Friday before we left we went to the State Capitol. It is the tallest state capitol and took only 14 months to build! How crazy is that???

View from the top

All the different flags that have flown over the state

The Senate Room, they were actually in session, but were gone for the holiday.

Last night we went to see Kevin Hart, a comedian, at WinStar. He was absolutely HILARIOUS!!

Then today, I went walking around Southlake Town Square just to get out. When I got there I found out that Crossmen, a drum corp, was performing. I love drum corp, so I stopped and watch them perform a little bit.

peace.
